What beginners say
The opportunity to get stuck straight in was great. Also the coaches were so welcoming.
Rob, Clare and Shaun were extremely helpful, and delivered the course in a clear and enjoyable way. I’m looking forward to being part of the club.
All the coaches were great, the help was given gently but clearly with encouragement.
Before you come
A coach leads every session and we lend you a bow, arrows and arm guard. We shoot outdoors, so dress for the weather.
- Under-18s must have a parent or guardian with them for the whole session.
- Tell us about any medical conditions or special needs before the session.
- Bring any medication you need, food and drink, and sunscreen on sunny days.
- Wear flat, closed shoes. Sandals and flip-flops are not allowed for safety reasons.
- The grass can be wet, so wear shoes that can get wet or muddy.
- Tie long hair back.
- Avoid very loose or baggy clothes and hoodies with drawstrings. They can catch in the bowstring.
- You may need to remove facial piercings.
