This notice explains what personal data Aequus Archers collects through this website, why we collect it, and your rights.
Who we are
Aequus Archers is a volunteer-run archery club in Milford, Derbyshire. The club is responsible for the personal data described here. For any question about your data, use the contact page.
The contact form
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you. The website stores your name, email address and message in the club's website database, which Cloudflare hosts. The form also sends your message by email to the club inbox. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share your details with anyone else.
To stop spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile checks information about your browser and device to confirm that a person sent the form. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Our legal basis is legitimate interests: we need your details to answer your question. The website deletes your stored details automatically 12 months after you send your message. We delete the copy in the club inbox when we no longer need it to deal with your enquiry.
Booking a session
We take bookings for taster sessions and beginner's courses through Spond. When you book, Spond collects your details for us and shares them with the club coaches who run the session. See Spond's privacy policy.
Maps
The map on our about page loads map images from OpenStreetMap. Your browser sends your IP address to OpenStreetMap to get these images. See the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Use the contact page. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
